Synopsis Three young people are spending their holidays on a camping ground in Brandenburg (Eastern Germany), south of Berlin: SANDRA (28), a self-conscient, single-educating young woman, with JULE (6), her daughter. With them is BENNI (27), student in architecture, for four months now seriously in love with SANDRA. MARCO (19) is from around, killing time. Hidden behind his sunglasses he has his appearances, colourful, smiling, but also uncalculable. Apparently a boy with nothing much to loose. After a few days (and a few fights) have gone by, the four find confidence in each other. When MARCO gets in trouble, they decide to leave the camping ground and travel further to the Polish Baltic Coast. Step by step new desires begin to reveal. For some time a strange little family comes into being, in which each one finds, what he is just looking for. Discoveries and difficulties, funny moments and challenges follow their steps. A deserted house finally is chosen as the new home; the reconstruction works mirror the wish to build a place for a common future. But good luck and happiness seem to have ceased, the stillstand begins to bring out the contradictions and jealousies in the relations of the young people. More and more the self-controlled SANDRA falls for the charme of young MARCO. Her ongrowing sympathy poisons the fellowship. BENNI feels betrayed and left alone. A confrontation becomes unavoidable... |
